Cabela’s to hire 140 people in new Moncton store

Cabela’s near the Trans-Canada highway on Mapleton Blvd in Moncton will be opening soon.

Cabela’s Canada is planning to hire about 140 full- and part-time employees for its new Moncton store, the company announced Tuesday.

The company, which sells hunting, fishing and outdoors gear, said in a news release that it is now accepting online applications for the jobs at the 53,000-square-foot store, which is expected to open in the spring and which will be located at 100 Cabela’s Court, near the intersection of Mapleton Parkway and the Trans-Canada Highway.

“This is a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to work in a fun, outdoor-like environment,” Tim Brown, general manager of the new store, said in the news release. “As the first Cabela’s location in the province, this store will be extra special and surrounded with excitement.”

Select a desired position then follow instructions to log in and apply. Selected applicants will be contacted for further information, the press release said.
